Thursday MLB Parlay Analysis

San Diego Padres vs. Washington Nationals , 4:06 PM ET

LEG 1: Ha-Seong Kim to Record a Hit (-185) with DraftKings

The first leg in this hit parlay sends us to Washington. We’re asking Ha-Seong Kim to record a hit for us today.

While Kim only has a .237 batting average on the season, he has a hit in 6 straight games. The hot hitter looks to bump that hit streak to seven for us today. 

He faces Jake Irvin of the Washington Nationals to start this game. Irvin is coming off two starts in which he allowed five and six hits. There should be opportunities for Kim to get hits off of Irvin today. 

Ha-Seong Kim is a great hitter at putting the ball in play, and that’s exactly why we’re trusting him today.

Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers, 6:40 PM ET

LEG 2: Andrew Vaughn to Record a Hit (-270) with DraftKings

Death. Taxes. And Calling Our Shot never getting a sweat-free No Run First Inning. You might be confused on how that applies here…well, in our daily YouTube video, we chose this as a ‘NRFI of the Day’, meaning we are guaranteed some base runners, and Vaughn is likely one of them.

Vaughn is batting only .237 this season but I am still confident he can get at least one hit. He’s had a hit in three straight and six of his last eight. Vaughn typically bats in the clean up spot (4th), so he should have four, maybe five plate appearances today.

Vaughn is 2-3 lifetime vs. Faedo, who he will face today. Vaughn hits better on the road and against Right Handed Pitchers (both of which are true today).

Hopefully he doesn’t at bat in the Top of the first, but if he does, I can almost guarantee he gets a hit. Either way, he will get plenty of chances today.

Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees, 7:05 PM ET

LEG 3: Cedric Mullins to Record a Hit (-225) with DraftKings

The final leg of this +204 is relying on the Orioles leadoff hitter to get on base. Not only do I love Cedric, the DimersBOT gives his hit prop a 12.5% edge, one of the biggest on the board.

As mentioned above, Cedric bats leadoff. Being that he’s on the road, barring a perfect game/no hitter, he will see at least four plate appearances with a chance to see five or more.

All we can ask for in a hit prop is opportunity and he will have plenty of it. Batting .275 this season, Cedric will get to face the righty Clarke Schmidt. I’ve faded Schmidt many times this season and been very successful.

Cedric is coming off an 0/5 game yesterday. I am expecting a bounce back considering he had a hit in 6 straight prior to that game.

Mullins has better splits vs. RHP than LHP. Additionally, Schmidt is allowing lefties to bat .356 vs. him this season. Mullins will get us at least 1 hit, mark my words!
