Mariners vs. Blue Jays, 4:07PM ET

We were all over Seattle to win Game One, but even we didn't expect the Toronto offense to be held without a run to start their postseason. Luis Castillo was masterful Friday, and now Seattle turns to another great starter, Robbie Ray. But this Jays offense is simply too good to be held quiet in back to back playoff games, and we think it starts with their leadoff hitter, George Springer. Springer has faced Ray 17 times in his career, and is hitting .352 in those at-bats. If he can get set the tone and get on base in this one, we like Toronto to change the tone of this series.

Phillies vs. Cardinals, 8:37PM ET

The Cardinals collapsed in epic fashion yesterday, leading 2-0 with one out and nobody on in the ninth inning. What proceeded from there is enough to crush any team's sense of hope - a bloop single, back to back walks, a hit batter, and a series of missed fielding plays resulted in a six-run final inning for Philadelphia and a comeback win for the ages. The Cards will turn to Miles Mikolas to try and keep their season alive in this one, and Mikolas is just 12-13 on the season while St. Louis has lost four of his last six starts. We're sensing a bit of a negative hangover for the Cardinals here and we think Philly has a great chance to close out the series.
