Monday MLB Parlay Analysis

Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds, 7:11 PM ET

LEG 1: Rockies +1.5 (-115) with DraftKings

For the first leg of this parlay, we are trusting the Rockies. If you wanted to switch this to Reds ML, you can as they have now won eight straight games and the Rockies have lost five straight.

However, streaks like this happen. Everyone is going to be on the Reds today, and while I am not saying these lose outright, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Rockies kept it close.

The Rockies are a better team than they have shown this last stretch. I expect them to try to end this 10 game road trip hoping to gain some momentum for their upcoming 9 game home stand.

Austin Gomber is a tough guy to trust, who will start for the Rockies, but his 4.60 ERA away from Coors Field is something I can get behind. Every Rockies starter will have inflated ERA numbers due to pitching at home.

Brandon Williamson (who pitches for the Reds) hasn’t been much better. He has a 5.40 ERA & 1.42 WHIP. He’s allowed 3, 4, 2, 6 & 3 ER in his last five starts. He struggles with striking out guys. I expect the Rockies to get Austin some run support and cover this +1.5.

My final note: the DimersBOT gives the UNDER 10 Runs a 5% edge. Everyone will also be on the over in this game, so the bot is going against the grain which bodes well for us if this is a lower scoring game. Let’s go Rockies!

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers, 8:11 PM ET

LEG 2: Brewers moneyline (-120) with DraftKings

The second leg of the Parlay relies on the Brew Crew to get it done at home. 

Last time Corbin Burnes faced the Diamondbacks, he cooked them. Burnes went eight innings and didn’t allow an earned run. Burnes also picked up 8 K’s in that game. 

Merrill Kelly starts for the Diamondbacks. In his last start against Milwaukee, Kelly went six innings and gave up three runs. 

Milwaukee is only hitting .198 at home in their last three games but I see that as a spot for positive regression. I trust the Brewers to give Burnes some run support today and get the win for us.

San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants 9:46 PM ET

LEG 3: Giants moneyline (-125) with DraftKings

The last leg of this parlay sends us to a west coast showdown. The Padres take on the Giants and we’re backing the home team in this one.

Ryan Walker starts for the Giants today. He enters with a great 1.23 ERA on the season. It’s hard to trust a Padres offense that is 29th in hits to do anything against him today.

Michael Wacha starts for the Padres. He has a tough matchup against a Giants offense that is top 10 in both hits and runs.

I trust the Giants offense to be dependable in this spot. We’ve seen the Padres ride a little too high and then come crashing back down to Earth. That’s what will happen today.
