Monday MLB Parlay Analysis

Colorado Rockies vs. Boston Red Sox, 7:11 PM ET

LEG 1: Red Sox Moneyline (-245) with DraftKings

The Parlay of the Day is back with a three-leg Winner for you all! It begins in Boston, where the Red Sox return from beating the Yankees in two of three games. The Red Sox offense has been struggling, but this offense should break out today being back at home.

The Red Sox are 17-16 at home this year, but the Rockies are 11-21 on the Road. The Rockies had a great comeback yesterday to beat the Padres in walk-off fashion, but now they have to travel across the states.

I like the Red Sox hitting, starting pitching and bullpen much more than the Rockies. The Rockies will also start Connor Seabold who has lost his last 4 starts and is rocking a 5.40 ERA on the road (somehow higher than his ERA at Coors Field).

Give me the Red Sox to get the win! I don’t care how they get it done, just get the job done.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Texas Rangers, 8:05 PM ET

LEG 2: Rangers Moneyline (-150) with DraftKings

The Rangers and Dane Dunning start a home-stand with the Angels today. We like the Rangers to get it done today.

Dunning has a 2.63 ERA at home this season. Dunning will be able to challenge the Angels hitters tonight and not walk them (82nd in walk percentage). 

Tyler Anderson starts for the Angels. Anderson enters with a 5.62 ERA and his strikeout percentage at only 8% is worrisome.

The Rangers will be able to provide Dunning with enough run support to get this win for us.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Oakland Athletics, 9:40 PM ET

LEG 3: Rays -1.5 (-155) with DraftKings

The last leg of this parlay involves the best team in baseball vs the worst team in baseball. Yes, we’re taking the Tampa Bay Rays on the -1.5 runline. 

Normally there’s no value in taking a heavily-juiced runline, but as a parlay piece we like it. Eflin starts for the Rays and enters with a 2.97 ERA. 

Eflin should have his way against the Athletics. The A’s are only hitting .207 at home this season which is abysmal. 

Kaprielian is starting for the Athletics and enters with a skyhigh 7.21 ERA. It’s hard to think that Kaprielian could contain one of the best offenses in baseball.

And there’s a huge discrepancy late in this game. The A’s are 30th in bullpen ERA and should give the Rays the opportunity to stretch this lead late.
