Monday MLB Parlay Analysis
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Baltimore Orioles, 7:06 PM ET
LEG 1: Freddie Freeman 1+ Hit (-280) with DraftKings
After hitting three straight parlays, our parlay on Friday failed with several guys going 0-5. We pick ourselves up and get right back to it heading to Baltimore for the first leg.
Freddie Freeman will lead things off for us. Freeman is batting .314 on the season. He’s seen that average dip the last two games going hitless. Let’s not make it three straight, Freddie.
Grayson Rodriguez will return to pitch for the Orioles. He struggled heavily vs. Lefties (& pretty much everyone in general). I like Freddie to get himself back on track.
The Dodgers are the road team, so we could see Freeman bat potentially five times tonight. With an O/U at 9.5, runs are expected to be scored. If you give me five at bats from Freddie, I’ll take my chances he AT LEAST gets one hit, hopefully more than that tonight.
Let’s go, Freddie!

San Francisco Giants vs. Cincinnati Reds, 7:12 PM ET
LEG 2: Elly De La Cruz 1+ Hit (-280) with DraftKings
The second leg involves the young phenom Elly De La Cruz to get a hit. Yesterday, Elly and the Reds had a rough day at the office but he’s bouncing back with a hit today.
The Reds and De La Cruz face Logan Webb and the Giants today. Logan Webb is likely to provide several hit opportunities for Elly as Webb has allowed 7+ hits in all 4 of his last four road starts.
In addition to hits allowed, Webb uses a pitch mix that is favorable to De La Cruz. Webb uses the sinker, changeup and slider.
De La Cruz is hitting .364/.276/.333 against those pitches respectively. Batting near the top of the order, De La Cruz should get his chances today to get a hit for us.
Miami Marlins vs St. Louis Cardinals, 7:45 PM ET
LEG 3: Luis Arraez 1+ Hit (-390) with DraftKings
Very few players will get me to bet a -400 hit prop. That’s a very short list, and at the top, is a guy batting .380 on the season, Luis Arraez.
If you had Arraez to record a hit yesterday, you are likely pissed reading this as he went a BIG 0-5. I highly doubt Arraez goes back-to-back games without a hit, in fact, he’s yet to do that in July, and he’s not starting today.
Today, Luis faces the Cardinals. The starting pitcher is Miles Mikolas, who he is 1-3 lifetime against. Mikolas has struggled striking out batters, and Luis is arguably the hardest guy to strike out in the majors.
Mikolas will leave plenty of pitches over the middle of the plate for Arraez to deposit in the outfield for a single. If he can’t do it vs. Miles, I am confident the Cardinals Bullpen will give him several chances.
