Monday MLB Parlay Analysis

Cleveland Guardians vs Detroit Tigers, 6:40 PM ET

LEG 1: Jose Ramirez to Record a Hit (-225) with DraftKings

Last Friday (our last Parlay of the Day) was a winner. We had a three-leg hit parlay then, so it only makes sense to run it back with another. This parlay starts with Jose Ramirez.

Ramirez is batting .290 this season. Yesterday, Ramirez went 0-4. That was his second time going 0-4 this season. Ramirez went 2-4 the following day after going 0-4 the first time, let’s hope he can do that again.

Ramirez has a hit in 14 of 16 games this season. He’s always getting on base whether it’s a single, double, triple or homer, he’s capable of it all.

Ramirez is a master at finding the gaps in the defense and putting the ball right there.

Matthew Boyd will start for the Tigers. Ramirez has 44 plate appearances against Boyd, with a .290 batting average. I am confident Ramirez will get 4 to 5 plate appearances, and that should be enough for him to get us at least one hit, if not two or more!

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Seattle Mariners, 9:41 PM ET

LEG 2: Brian Anderson to Record a Hit (-215) with DraftKings

Brian Anderson is a great parlay piece to get a hit today. Although not a household name, Anderson is a very consistent hitter. 

Anderson did not record a hit in his last game, but he was great prior to that. Anderson had a hit in three straight games. 

On the season, Anderson is seeing the baseball well and hitting .269. There’s a lot to like about the matchup Anderson has against Chris Flexen today.

In Flexen’s last start, he gave up 10 hits. The opportunities will be there for Anderson to get a hit off of Chris Flexen. 

Since the Brewers are the away team, they will have a guaranteed nine innings at bat. Hopefully Anderson cashes out for us.

New York Mets vs Los Angeles Dodgers, 10:10 PM ET

LEG 3: Jeff McNeil To Record a Hit (-235) with DraftKings

We love McNeil (aka the flying squirrel)  in this late spot vs the Dodgers tonight. 

While 2023 has been a down year for McNeil, this is a great spot for the lefty to get back on track. McNeil finally snapped his three game hitless streak yesterday, and it’s time to build off of that today.

McNeil will see the Dodgers pitcher Dustin May today. Since May is a right-handed pitcher, we’ll have the left-handed bat in McNeil in a favorable lefty-righty matchup. 

Against righties this year, McNeil is only hitting .212. In 2022, it was a ridiculous .332 average vs righties. 

While we’re not expecting him to hit .300 this year, his average should fall more in the middle between those two numbers. Positive regression is on the way for McNeil, and it starts with a hit for us tonight.
