The Yanks still continue to be a headache for bettors, dropping a game yesterday against the Twins - a game they should have won - after besting them two times already this week. They face the ultimate test coming into the weekend against the Rays who are within touching distance of New York in hunt of the AL East. A big weekend for Tampa Bay, who have won 8 of their last 10, could shift the balance of power in the division mightily. Drew Rasmussen will be on the mound for the Rays and we're expecting a show.

Angels vs. Astros, 8:10PM ET

The last time Angels starter Michael Lorenzen (6-6, 4.94 ERA) saw Major League action was on July 1 when he faced this very Astros team and was slapped around for 7 ER in just 3 innings. He comes back from a stint on the injury list tonight and we may see a repeat performance of that night in July. The Astros continue to be a stifling defensive unit, limiting their opponents to a average of 2 runs per game over their last 10. Without run pressure, Houston will get on top early and stay out in front.

Guardians vs. Twins, 8:10PM ET

A pivotal weekend with regards to the makeup of the AL Central division is upon us starting tonight with the Guardians and Twins getting their series underway. Cleveland have maintained a lead on the Twins for the past month and we're looking at them to continue their charge to an unlikely postseason berth as they bring out their big guns with Cal Quantrill (11-5, 3.55 ERA) getting the start. Quantrill struggled against the Mariners in his last appearance, but prior to that the Guards had won 10 straight games with him in the lineup. This is an important game and they're capable of doing the business.
