MLB Best Bet Parlay For Friday, September 15
Friday MLB Parlay Analysis
Atlanta Braves vs Miami Marlins, 6:41 PM ET
LEG 1: Ronald Acuna Jr. to Record 1+ Hits (-280) with Bet365
The first leg of this hit parlay is Ronald Acuna Jr. to record a hit. Acuna has been historic for the NL East champions this year and all we need is a hit today.
Acuna faces Cueto and the Marlins today. Cueto has allowed 5+ hits in 5 straight starts and shouldn’t be an obstacle for Ronald.
Acuna Jr. is hitting a ridiculous .316 this month. It doesn’t matter home or road, he’s getting on base with a hit.
Since Acuna Jr. bats leadoff and the Braves are on the road, he’ll get the best chance for the most plate appearances today. Ronald is getting us a hit today and cashing this first leg.
Houston Astros vs Kansas City Royals, 8:11 PM ET
LEG 2: Jose Altuve to Record 1+ Hits (-250) with Bet365
Our next leg involves Jose Altuve. In our last hit parlay, Altuve got walked twice. Nothing we can do there when a team is afraid of him. Today, he will face Zack Greinke, who has one of the lowest walk rates in the MLB. The only guy lower it feels is George Kirby, who we will talk about in Leg 3….no spoilers though.
Altuve is 10/28 (.357) lifetime vs. Greinke, he’s seen him plenty. This season, Altuve is batting .308. He’s hitting .319 vs. Right Handed Pitchers, but the most important part, he’s hitting .355 on the Road.
Being on the Road today, batting leadoff, vs. the Royals, Altuve could easily see 5+ plate appearances. That should be enough for him to get the job done.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs Seattle Mariners, 10:10 PM ET
LEG 3: Mookie Betts to Record 1+ Hits (-260) with Bet365
The last leg of this hit parlay sends us to Seattle for a late night sweat with Mookie Betts.
Mookie has cooled off in September, but that is mostly due to walks. His Batting Average is .226 paired with a .429 On Base Percentage. Teams are walking him.
As referenced in Leg 2, George Kirby is a strike thrower. This man doesn’t walk batters. He just doesn’t like doing it. Mookie will get pitches to hit, which is all we can ask for.
Mookie has never seen George Kirby, but that doesn’t affect my decision. Mookie is hitting .311 vs. RHP this season. He throws 3 pitches: Fastball, Slider & Sinker. Mookie hits .321, .308 & .364 vs. those 3 pitches.
We know by now to fade Freddie on Friday’s, so let’s hope his teammate batting ahead of him can take us home with a 1st Inning hit.
