Friday MLB Parlay Analysis
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres, 9:40 PM ET
LEG 1: 1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-122) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The Parlays of the Day have hit a dry spell. Today, that changes AND if it changes, you could win some money! Last Friday, we did a No Run First Inning (NRFI) Parlay and it cashed and we gave away the winnings.
Today, we aim to do the exact same thing. 3 NRFIs. 18 Outs to Glory. Let’s dive into the first one.
Clayton Kershaw vs. Yu Darvish. We need six outs of you fellas, and I am confident you can get us there.
This game has an over/under of 7.5, so they aren’t expecting many runs.
Yu Darvish was 22-8 on NRFIs last season, 4-1 this season. His only ‘Yes Run First Inning’ was in Mexico City, so that doesn’t even really count…not his fault! The Dodgers are a good first inning run team, but I have faith Yu can hold it down.
Clayton Kershaw will start for the Dodgers. The future Hall of Famer was 19-3 on NRFIs last season. Kershaw is 3-3 on NRFIs this season. If that doesn’t scream positive regression, I don’t know what does.
6 OUTS. That’s all we need.
Houston Astros vs Seattle Mariners, 10:10 PM ET
LEG 2: 1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-138) with FanDuel Sportsbook
After Clayton & Yu do their jobs, we need Cristian Javier & Luis Castillo to do theirs.
Again, this projects to be a low scoring game with an O/U sitting at 7.
If you watched our daily YouTube video (at the bottom of this article), you would know I am expecting a solid showing out of Javier, but I also expect Castillo to do his job.
These two pitchers are capable of throwing a no hitter, let alone get us 3 outs.
Javier was 19-6 on NRFIs last season. He is 5-1 on NRFIs this season, 5-0 in his last 5 starts. Javier Masterclass incoming… I hope!
Luis Castllo has a <2.00 ERA. He’s been dialed in. Castillo was 19-6 on NRFIs last season. He is 5-1 on NRFIs this season. Him and Javier had identical seasons last year & identical this year too.
A little spooky. We need 6 Outs. I don’t ask for much.
Milwaukee Brewers vs San Francisco Giants, 10:15 PM ET
LEG 3: 1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-128) with FanDuel Sportsbook
As you can see, I have picked the last 3 games on the slate. Regardless of how your night is going up until the start of the Dodgers-Padres game, this 3 leg NRFI parlay could change everything.
But that’s neither here nor there. We need Corbin Burnes and Sean Manaea to get us 3 outs each.
Sean Manaea will pitch for the Giants. He’s 3-1 on NRFIs this season (20-10 last year). His only YRFI was in Mexico City, so just like Yu Darvish, we won’t count that one.
Plus, in that NRFI, he was one out away from achieving greatness before he got hit by a line drive. Not his fault again.
Burnes was 28-5 on NRFIs last season, 4-2 so far this year. This Giants team has capable bats to score in the first Inning, but in the same breath, they can be the quickest six outs you will ever see.
3 NRFIs. 18 Outs. No better way to close out a Friday night if you ask me!
