Friday MLB Parlay Analysis

Seattle Mariners vs Detroit Tigers, 6:41 PM ET

LEG 1: Mariners Moneyline (-120) with FanDuel Sportsbook

I know, the Tigers are everyone’s favorite team to bet on. Coming off a series win against Cleveland, I see this as a let down spot for everyone’s favorite underdogs.

The Tigers face Marco Gonzales and the Mariners. The Tigers are 17th in average and 19th in OPS vs lefties this season so Marco does have a favorable matchup.

I’m confident the Mariners offense can get Marco some run support against Boyd. We know this Mariners offense is loaded with power, and Boyd has allowed a home run in 4 straight starts this season.

In terms of bullpens, I give a decisive advantage to the Mariners and their 1st in ERA bullpen. By comparison, the Tigers are 21st in bullpen ERA. In a close game, I like the Mariners to be able to hold it down and cash the first leg of the parlay with a win.

Atlanta Braves vs Toronto Blue Jays, 7:08 PM ET

LEG 2: Blue Jays +1.5 (-122) with FanDuel Sportsbook

The DimersBot is giving the Blue Jays a 3% edge on the moneyline. While I think the Jays could win outright, the +1.5 is a good parlay leg for a safer play.

In our video, we picked the Blue Jays First 5 runline because we liked the matchup Bassitt presented to the Braves. Bassitt is 23rd best out of 204 when it comes to hard hit percentage. This is especially important against a team like the Braves who are 1st in hard hit percentage.

Even though Spencer Strider has been borderline unhittable this year, I still think the Jays’ bats can do damage. Toronto is 8th in batting average and 12th in OPS at home.

After a tough loss in Philly, the return to home will be a welcome sight for the Jays hitters today.

If the Blue Jays provide Bassitt with run support, I see a great opportunity for the Jays to cover this runline, regardless if they win or not.

Texas Rangers vs Oakland Athletics, 9:40 PM ET

LEG 3: Rangers Team Total Under 5 Runs (-114) with FanDuel Sportsbook

If you only have ‘UNDER 4.5’ for the Rangers, I am comfortable there too. The Rangers will be in almost every moneyline parlay today, and rightfully so, they are facing the Athletics.

While I will not claim that the Athletics win this game, the DimersBot gives them the biggest edge (7.9%) on the board today to win outright. The Rangers went UNDER this team total yesterday in a 4-0 victory.

Starting for the Athletics will be Ken Waldichuk. Waldichuk is a lefty. The Rangers have the 8th best batting average vs. lefties this season. Waldichuk will give up run opportunities, it’s whether the Rangers can convert them or not.

This season, the Rangers have the best batting average with runners in scoring positon, by a LARGE margin at .328. If that doesn’t scream regression, I don’t know what does. Waldichuk’s last great start was 4 games ago when he went 5 IP, 0 ER vs. the Cubs.

Maybe another great start is on the horizon for him. If Waldichuk can give us a chance, the Athletics back-of-the-pack Bullpen will have to give us a decent outing. Yesterday, they allowed only 1 run in 3 IP.

I feel like the Rangers are about to hit that regression. Give me their Team Total UNDER at 5. This has a chance to push and void this leg of the parlay, which I don’t hate either.
