Friday MLB Parlay Analysis
Houston Astros vs. Cleveland Guardians, 7:11 PM ET
LEG 1: No Runs First Inning (-128) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The Parlay of the Day is back with a NRFI edition today. The first task sends us to Cleveland needing six quick outs without a run being scored.
Logan Allen starts for the Guardians. Although the Astros are great offense, Allen is 7-1 on NRFIs this year. He should be able to get us the first three outs of the inning.
Pitching in the bottom-half of the inning is Christian Javier. Javier is 10-2 on NRFIs this season.
Javier faces a Cleveland team that is 22nd in first inning runs scored. Javier is a pitcher hard to see first time through the order, so he should be able to get the last three outs needed for the NRFI.
Miami Marlins vs Chicago White Sox, 8:11 PM ET
LEG 2: No Runs First Inning (-130) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The second Leg is the NRFI of the Day in our daily YouTube Video (at the bottom of this article). We trust Dylan Cease and Eury Perez to get the job done.
Dylan Cease is 11-2 on NRFIs this season, getting it done in five straight games. Luis Arraez will be the first guy up, and he’s only 5/20 vs. Cease, which is good for us given how hot Arraez is batting. Soler is 0/13 lifetime vs. Cease, so hopefully he gets us an easy out. Cease is good enough to navigate a Marlins offense that is second-to-last in scoring runs in the 1st Inning.
Take us home, Eury Perez. He’s 5-0 on NRFIs this season, yet to lose one…knock on wood. This White Sox offense is 26th in First Inning Runs. Really struggling to get things going.
They have talented hitters but I am confident in the young Perez to get us three quick outs.
Seattle Mariners vs Los Angeles Angels, 9:40 PM ET
LEG 3: No Runs First Inning (-148) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The last leg of the parlay is the NRFI between two aces. We have Castillo and Ohtani facing off against each other.
Ohtani starts for the Angels today. While Shohei is great statistically, his first inning runs record is a surprising 7-5.
I look at the NRFI record as due some positive regression. The Mariners are 25th in first inning runs so Shohei should have his way.
Luis Castillo starts in the bottom-half of the first inning. Castillo is 10-2 on NRFIs this season so he’s a great option for a NRFI here.
All we need is six outs to bring us home for this NRFI parlay. We just need these two pitchers to do their job for us!
