Friday MLB Parlay Analysis
San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds, 5:11 PM ET
LEG 1: Matt McClain 1+ Hit (-280) with FanDuel Sportsbook
For the first leg of this hit parlay, we’re trusting a long-time friend of the channel Matt McLain to get it done for us. McLain faces the Padres at home today.
At home, McLain is always a good bet to get a hit. On the season, he’s batting .329 at home.
With a sky high total set to 11, the books expect there to be offense in this game. The Reds will face Seth Lugo and his curveball and fastball combination.
McLain hits very well against the curveball, so he should get plenty of opportunities to at least get us one hit today!
Boston Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 8:06 PM ET
LEG 2: Bo Bichette 1+ Hit (-270) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The next leg of this hit parlay is Bo Bichette to record a hit. Bichette and the Jays will face the Red Sox and starter James Paxton today.
This season, Bichette is hitting .292 at home. He faces James Paxton who has allowed 4+ hits in three out of his five road starts this season.
Bichette should see plenty of opportunities to get a hit today. Even when Paxton comes out, this Red Sox bullpen is liable for some runs.
We see another high total of 9 between these two struggling offenses. The offenses should be on full display in a bounce-back spot today.
Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Angels, 9:40 PM ET
LEG 3: Shohei Ohtani To Record 2+ Bases (-115) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The last leg of this +247 Parlay involves Ohtani. While you could take him to record a hit, I rather try to beef up this parlay with some better value.
For starters, Ohtani has recorded 2+ bases in 17 of his last 21 games. He’s swinging the hottest bat in the league in June. Ohtani is getting XBH like they are going out of style.
Ohtani should have plenty of chances vs. the lefty Tommy Henry. Henry is allowing a .273 Batting Average to lefties with 7 XBH in 66 At Bats. I wouldn’t blame Henry if he intentionally walked Ohtani, that’s probably the smart move.
However, all it takes is one swing of the bat and Ohtani can get this done. I feel like if he gets a hit, there’s always a good chance he gets 2 bases out of it. We will ride with the hot hand of Ohtani.
Three Legs. Three Winners. Let’s get it done.
