Friday MLB Parlay Analysis
Miami Marlins vs. Washington Nationals, 7:06 PM ET
LEG 1: No Runs First Inning (-115) with FanDuel Sportsbook
For the first leg of this NRFI parlay, we’re going to our NRFI GOAT, Sandy Alcantara.
Sandy Alcantara starts for the Marlins today. Sandy is 12-1 on NRFIs this year. He faces a Nationals lineup that is 12th in first inning runs scored. We trust Sandy to do his job.
Trevor Williams starts for the Nationals today. Williams has been surprisingly good in the first inning with an 11-2 record on NRFIs this season.
We love taking Marlins NRFIs because they are 29th in first inning runs. When the Marlins score in the first, it is usually a fluke. Just need no runs today in the first! 6 Quick Outs to get us to the night slate of NRFIs!
Cleveland Guardians vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 PM ET
LEG 2: No Runs First Inning (-120) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The second leg of the NRFI Parlay takes us to Arizona! We are asking two elite pitchers to get us three outs each, I certainly think they are capable.
Zac Gallen will lead off the game. He’s been great this season, 11-3 on No Run First Innings. He is coming off a start where he gave up the illustrious ‘YRFI’, however, he’s been so good at home with a 0.96 ERA. He can get us three outs.
Next up, Triston McKenzie. McKenzie returned from injury two starts ago. He’s went NRFI, then YRFI. Last season, McKenzie will great at getting through the First Inning without allowing a run.
He will have his work cut out for him vs. a strong Diamondbacks squad, but we’ve seen their bats cool off a little vs. the Phillies. I trust Triston to do his job.
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Oakland Athletics 9:40 PM ET
LEG 3: No Runs First Inning (-125) with FanDuel Sportsbook
The last leg of this +516 parlay relies on the worst team in baseball not to score in the first inning.
Starting for the worst team in baseball, Oakland Athletics, is JP Sears. Sears is 8-5 on NRFIs but he does have the benefit of playing in a pitcher-friendly park.
The Phillies do have talent in their top of the order but we’re confident they can strand some base runners and cash this NRFI for us.
Starting for the Phillies today is Taijuan Walker. Walker is 10-4 on NRFIs, and has NRFI’d in five straight starts. The Athletics as a whole have NRFI’d in their last 6 games. If the Athletics want to score and ruin the parlay, I can live with it. Walker should be good enough to get the job done.
18 Quick Outs. That’s all we need to win this parlay! Happy NRFI Friday!
