How to Play Moonshot - First TD Scorer Contest

If you've been following Dimers this NFL season, then you know we've been rolling out several Mojo Fantasy lineups each week using our model's insights to identify props that are mispriced. Now, we get to put that to use on their latest contest type built entirely around First TD scorers.

The Ravens' tight end was notably two minutes late to be the first TE to score back on National Tight End Day, but he's as good of ap lay this week in Mojo as any other. There's a solid chance Justin Fields returns to well, the field, this Sunday and that should bode well for DJ Moore who hasn't scored since Fields injured his thumb in Week 6. He had just scored in three straight (six touchdowns in that span) so needless to say for his sake, we'd like to see Fields back. DimersBOT gives him a 7.8% probability to score first right in line with his $0.8 price on Mojo.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons 1:00PM EDT

Jordan Addison First TD Scorer

Kirk Cousins is out for the year with an Achilles injury so in steps rookie QB Jaren Hall for the Vikings. With any luck, he'll look for the team's de facto WR1 with Justin Jefferson also out, and that's Jordan Addison, who nearly had a three-TD game on primetime just a couple of weeks ago. Mojo has priced Addison at $0.07, but our model gives him nearly 2% better at 8.8%.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles 4:25M EDT

Devonta Smith First TD Scorer

If the Cowboys want any shot of winning this game, they'll need to contain superstar WR A.J. Brown which will assuredly be their top priority in this game. That should leave DeVonta Smith with a chance to slip by the Cowboys defense and find his way into the endzone. Our model projects the Slim Reaper with a 6.8% probability to score first.

Dallas Goedert First TD Scorer

You can't take both of these guys, but we like to give you options! For the same reasons that DeVonta Smith gets a solid chance this week, so does tight end Dallas Goedert. It would be poetic for a guy named "Dallas" to score first on the Cowboys and set the tone early, plus our model projects him with a 6.2% probability to do so, right around his current price on Mojo.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Carolina Panthers 4:05PM EDT

Adam Thielen First TD Scorer

Having a resurgent year as the WR1 and veteran of this young Carolina offense, Adam Thielen has compiled four touchdowns this year and has been Bryce Young's favorite target.  The Colts' defense allows the most points per game in the NFL, meaning Thielen should find plenty of opportunities, and hopefully nice and early. DiemrsBOT gives him an 11.5% chance of scoring first, the tiniest bit higher than his stock price implies.

Michael Pittman First TD Scorer

Same game, other team for a secondary option. The Colts may allow the most points in the league, but Carolina isn't far behind at 30th. Pittman is halfway to matching his career-high in touchdowns at six and has found the endzone in back-to-back contests. Our model projects him with an 8.7% probability of scoring first, right in line with Mojo's price.

Davante Adams First TD Scorer

Jimmy Garoppolo has been benched, the Raiders have cleaned house and Davante Adams is HUNGRY. Interim Head Coach Antonio Pierce would be wise to get Adams involved early and often and our model agrees, projecting him with a 13.5% probability to strike first. His stock price on Mojo is just $0.12, meaning we have a 1.5% edge in probability,
