Wimbledon Best Bets: Top Picks To Win

1) Novak Djokovic to Win Wimbledon 2023 Men's Draw (-160)

We start with the men's draw, where we have an overwhelming favorite, Novak Djokovic. Joker has won his last four Wimbledon championships, and six of his last eight appearances. Not only is Djokovic incredible on grass, but he has the rare opportunity to go for a Grand Slam this year, as he already holds titles from Roland Garros and the Australian Open. In 2021, the last time he headed into Wimbledon holding both of those previous titles, he won at Wimbledon as well. Our Futures model certainly backs this up, projecting Novak with a 58.3% chance of winning the tournament. His next closest competitors, Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz combine for just a 23.7% probability that one of them wins the tournament. While -160 is a steep price, it's worth it to back the best in the world at Wimbledon yet again.

2) Daniil Medvedev to Win 2nd Quarter (+260)

But since we don't love only betting a steep favorite, we're looking for our highest value play and that's where Medvedev comes in. While many view the young Spaniard, Carlos Alcaraz, as the biggest threat to Djokovic, it is actually Daniil Medvedev that our model likes best. Medvedev holds a 12.6% probability to win Wimbledon, while Alcaraz is right beneath him at 11.1%. In order to win his Quarter, Medvedev will just need to hold serve and get through his big threats such as Tommy Paul and Stefanos Tsitsipas, but Medevedev would be favored in those matches and we like his chances. We'll jump all over this one at +260 knowing there's no Alcaraz or Djokovic to get through.

3) Iga Swiatek to Win Wimbledon 2023 Women's Draw (+300)

Onto the women's draw, where our model once again has a heavy favorite, although not as sizeable of one as Djokovic on the men's side. Iga Swiatek is the betting favorite, and our model likes her as well, giving her a whopping 25.2% chance to win the tournament. Her next two closest competitors, Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka combine for just a 21.3% probability to win. Swiatek has won the tournament at three of her last five majors, and she is still seeking that magical first win at Wimbledon. We love her chances, and we're backing her at +300 odds without hesitation.
