After a thrilling Masters week that saw Rory McIlroy finally don his green jacket, we're back on the links for the 2025 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links from Thursday, April 17 through Sunday, April 20.

Scottie Scheffler looks to defend his title as the +400 favorite at this no-cut event, followed by Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Aberg.

A field of 72 golfers will compete and that field is stacked with many of last week's Masters contenders jumping right back into the action.

Our predictive analytics model has run 1000s of simulations with the field in this tournament, identifying intriguing bets in the winner and placement markets. Our best bets are here to help with outright winner plays, as well as recommended Top-5, Top-10 and Top-20 picks where a $5 bet on any golfer can get you a $150 new-user bonus at bet365 sportsbook with the bet365 bonus code DIMERS.

2025 RBC Heritage Betting Preview

A Pete Dye design that's hosted this event for over 30 years, Harbour Town Golf Links has the unique offering of one of the shortest courses on the PGA Tour, yet still a challenging one to navigate. With hanging limbs and green-adjacent bunkers everywhere, hazards abound all over the 7,213-yard Par 71.

Another signature event, a $20 million purse is one the line, with Scottie Scheffler looking to take home the biggest chunk in defense of his 2024 win. The 72-hole record is 262 set by Webb Simpson in 2020.

Best Bets to Win the 2025 RBC Heritage

A field of 72 golfers are guaranteed to see all four round this weekend at Harbour Town Golf Links for the RBC Heritage. We're looking at the golfers that our model has identified with a higher probability to win than that implied by the sportsbook odds, from some Top 5 contenders to longshot dark horses.

Collin Morikawa (+1200 on FanDuel)

There may be no one more due for a win on the PGA Tour this year than Collin Morikawa.

He's gotten off to hot starts and been in contention at the end but hasn't been able to put together four full rounds and walk away with a victory in 2025.

He's got a pair of runner-ups, A T10 and three other Top 20s. That's the whole of his results this year - elite stuff, just without a win.

He shines on Approach (ranks 1st) and 11th off the tee, contributing to his 2nd overall rank in Strokes Gained.

This week, we give him an 8.9% probability, second highest overall, which makes fair odds of +1000 while you can get him at +1200 over on FanDuel for a nice little edge.

Denny McCarthy (+5500 on FanDuel)

Next, we're looking at Denny McCarthy to improve on his T28 finish last year and contend for the win at RBC Heritage.

McCarthy has a lone Top 10 this year, but did net five Top 20s in his past six events before finishing T29 at Augusta last weekend and finished as high as T5 back at the Genesis Invitational.

His weakest point is off the tee, though his driving accuracy remains his best in that category. Where he excels is in the short game, ranking 45th in Approach, 9th in Scrambling and 7th in putting, which could be a boon on the smaller greens at Harbour Town.

Our model's 2.1% probability to win is modest, yet identifies fair odds of +4600, giving us big edge in the odds of +5500, even though it calculates to just a 0.3% difference.

Keegan Bradley (+7000 on bet365)

Next, we're looking at Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley, who's had a mixed bag of results this year.

He has a T6 and T5, three other T20 or better and then three finishes outside the Top 30., as well as a Missed Cut as the Masters.

Bradley has a strong driver (19th overall) and 29th off the tee, coupled with his 25th-ranked approach. It's his putter that's hurt him the worst, ranking well below the Field average in strokes gained.

If he can take advantage of the small greens, he could find himself threatening late in the weekend.

Our model makes his fair odds at +6150 with a 1.6% probability while he's available at +7000 on bet365.

Justin Rose (+7000 on FanDuel)

One of the elder statesman who's a PGA TOUR regular, Justin Rose is coming off a runner-up finish at the Masters, just missing a long putt that would have forced a second playoff hole.

Rose is having one of his best years in recent memory (when he makes the cut), ranking 9th in FedExCup points backed by three Top 10 finishes this year. That's impressive considering he's played in seven events and missed three cuts.

His strength lies in his putting, ranking 11th in one-putt % and 16th overall. His iron play needs work, as he ranks well below the field average in approach metrics.

Just like Bradley, his fair odds are +6150 while he's available at +7000 over at FanDuel.

Adam Scott (+15000 on bet365)

We'll finish up with another elder golfer who's largely just play on value, as his form has left us wanting this year.

Australian Adam Scott's best finishes this year came in his first two events, a T15 and T22, and his past three events have resulted in two cuts and T57.

However, even though we give him just a 1.4% probability to win, that would imply fair odds of just +7000, less than half the payout of the odds we can actually get at bet365 of +15000.

It's a longshot, but the odds are wrong according to DimersBOT and worth a couple bucks for a potentially huge payout.
