2024 French Open Best Bets to Win
Novak Djokovic (+410 on FanDuel)
There's just one winner bet with value according to our projections and it's our second-most likely winner, Novak Djokovic. Our No. 2 ranked player and the No. 1 seed in the French Open, Djokovic has won this tournament three times - in 2016, 2021 and last year in 2023. In his most recent Grand Slam at the Australian Open, he fell in the semifinals to Jannik Sinner, the No. 2 seed in this tournament.
It's not a huge value play as our fair odds for Djokovic would be +350, but he's even lower than that on other books, so you can see clear value on him with his odds at FanDuel.
Coco Gauff (+1000 on BetMGM)
Two winners in the Women's draw get value to win, the first one being our third-most likely winner of the tournament, American Cori "Coco" Gauff. Her best finish at Roland Garros was in 2022 when she lost in the final to this year's favorite, Iga Switek. Just 20 years old, Gauff has a long and bright future ahead to add to her lone Grand Slam victory, last year's US Open. Gauff's odds here imply a 9% chance to win, which gives us about +100 in value.
Danielle Collins (+2600 on FanDuel)
The 30-year Danielle Collins is set to retire at the end of the year and is going on one heck of a run, winning 21 of her past 23 matches. At her odds of +2600, her implied probability to win is 3.7% while we give her a 4.4% chance. That 0.7% seems slim, but it's the difference between +2600 and +2150. She's made it as far as the quarterfinals in the 2020 edition of the French Open, and this would be her first Grand Slam of her 15 year career. Know that this is a longshot, but the value is there.
These might not be the only value plays on the board, but our selected ones based on what we see in our model. You can check out our full predictions for the 2024 French Open to find your favorite plays.
