Miami Heat vs. Denver Nuggets, 8:00PM ET

LEG 1: Aaron Gordon Over 13.5 Points

Denver looked every bit of a champion caliber team on Thursday night in their dominance of the Heat, and Aaron Gordon was a huge part. Gordon fed off of Nikola Jokic's playmaking with aplomb, often getting himself in the perfect position in the post, scoring 16 points on 7-10 shooting. With Bam minding Jokic, the lack of Miami length was evident on Thursday and it's hard to know how they combat him in Game 2 with our model predicting 19 points.

LEG 2: Michael Porter Jr Over 2.5 Threes

MPJ let us down in Game 1, falling just short of hitting his points prop - but it wasn't through a lack of volume. It was a typical game for Porter Jr, going 2-11 from three on his way to a 14-point game. While he didn't live up to expectations in Game 1, this is one of those guys in the NBA who can be awful one night and great the next (Anthony Davis, anyone?). The Nuggets have a solid gameplan of getting their wings open shots when the defense collapses on Jokic in the post and Porter Jr. will continue to get his looks.

LEG 3: Bam Adebayo Over 18.5 Points

Bam was one of the main shining lights in an otherwise disappointing series opener for the Heat, and we're expecting him to have yet another big night. Adebayo has hit this line in six of his last eight games against Jokic, dating back to 2020 and if Jimmy Butler continues to struggle, will be the main option on offense during the game.
