LEG 1: Nikola Jokic Under 9.5 Assists
Did Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra unlock the key to beating the Nuggets in Game 2? He denied it in the postgame, but turning Jokic into a scorer rather than a facilitator for his teammates yielded results after the former MVP scored 40+ points in a losing team for the fourth time in his career. Is it just a quirky stat, or part of something bigger? It did seem as though the Miami defense were sagging off Jokic more, allowing him to get good looks to score, but also denying his teammates opportunities to get rolling. Our prediction model thinks Spo might be onto something with 8 assists predicted.

LEG 2: Jamal Murray Over 24.5 Points
Murray was less aggressive in Game 2, getting off just 15 shots - his lowest amount of volume since scoring 19 points on 7-15 shooting against the Suns almost a month ago. That's not something we've come to expect from the point guard, and there's little surprise that it may have contributed to the reason why the Nuggets don't have a 2-0 lead in the series right now. Expect Mike Malone to implore one of his main offensive weapons to shoot more and get back to the 25-point mark. Our NBA player prop predictor has him hitting this mark.
LEG 3: Bam Adebayo Over 19.5 Points
We love this prop because not only has it cashed in both games of this series, but it's now cashed in seven of the last nine meetings between Bam and Jokic. Adebayo will feature prominently in this Heat offense again, running pick and roll with the plethora of Heat shooters to either get them open looks from three, or, get him open lanes to the basket. The Miami big man has now proven over a long enough sample size that he can score against Jokic and we're expecting another big night with 21 points predicted.
