NFL Week 5 Bad Beats
1. Six more Dalvin Cook yards for $3,331
Close losses are never easy, but when you're one play away from cashing, this is the type of slip you lose sleep over.
A four-leg, 100+ yard player prop parlay featured Nick Chubb, Gabriel Davis and Derrick Henry all going Over the number for one bettor, leaving just Dalvin Cook remaining to cash over $3,000 on a $20 bet. The game script seemed perfect for the Vikings, who led 21-3 in the second quarter of this game, to run the ball and feed Cook making this an easy Over.
However, Cook ran for just nine yards in the fourth quarter, leaving him six yards short of the necessary 100-mark, and leaving a sour taste in one bettor's mouth.

2. Five more Saquon Barkley yards for $5,566
Speaking of running backs coming up just short, Saquon Barkley left Meezy hanging just short of cashing a $5.5k ticket.
Meezy had a six-leg, +670 same game parlay for the Packers/Giants game on Sunday morning, and prior to kickoff, Barkley's Over might have been viewed as one of the easiest legs to cash. After AJ Dillon, Aaron Jones, Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard and Daniel Jones all crossed the necessary yardage thresholds, the ticket came down to Barkley, who had gone over 75+ yards in three of his first four games.
But not on Sunday. The Giants had only one fourth quarter drive, and on that drive they marched down to take the lead with very little Barkley involvement. He ran for just two yards (a touchdown on first and goal) and never got the ball back with a chance to ice the game and cash the ticket. Brutal, brutal break.

3. Jaguars ML Ruins +908 Winner
Another bettor was let down by a Jacksonville dud. A $75 free bet could have turned nearly a $1,000 profit had the Jags not laid an egg at home to the Houston Texans.
At -320 to win pre-game, this was the second-safest leg of the parlay, which combined moneyline bets and player props across multiple games on Sunday.
It was hard to see this Jags' loss coming — the Texans have been lifeless on the season and Jacksonville has been surprisingly feisty, destroying the Chargers and Colts weeks ago and taking the league-leading Eagles down to the final drive. Bad performance at a bad time for this bettor.
