2022 NFL Season: The Top 5 Bad Beats of Week 1
While it may be a new season, some things never change. NFL Week 1 Bad Beats
1. Elijah Moore Anytime Touchdown
After hitting on 5 Anytime TD Scorer legs in his parlay, @_NickkKlinger needed just one more guy to get into the end zone in Elijah Moore to cash a $1739 parlay from a $15 bet. Moore did indeed score with 1:18 left in the game, but not before the flags were thrown due to a pass interference call, rubbing it out. Damn.
Elijah Moore anytime Tuddy to cash this…. He scored and they called offensive PI on him. pic.twitter.com/Pv6Ken08Lc

2. The Goddamn Broncos
The hype around Russell Wilson's debut was one of the stories of the preseason, and with a reunion with his old team in the house he helped make in Seattle, most bettors were expecting Denver to make light work of a Seahawks team that are in a state of purgatory. Unfortunately for Wilson, though, his Broncos were not only outclassed by Seattle, but shot themselves in the foot multiple times with fumbles on the 1-yd line and some bizarre coaching decisions at the end of the game. Ultimately most bettors were left on Monday night with just three words: "Fuck you Denver".Fuck you Denver. #badbeat pic.twitter.com/MQUjKEAmEY

3. Travis Etienne Over 20.5 Receiving Yards
If you had the Jaguars running back's receiving yards in a parlay on Sunday, chances are that you already checked that leg off when Etienne hit 24 yards before halftime. That was until a big hit from the Washington defense on a catch made the ball spill out of Etienne's hands and into the backfield for a loss of 6 yards. Brutal.
Week 1 might have brought us a bad beat of the year contender 🤮

Etienne's receiving prop was 20.5 yards...
He had 24 and ended with 18 because of this play 😅

4. Aaron Rodgers 225+ Passing Yards
The Packers are now making a tradition out of awful Week 1 performances as they were stomped by the Vikings on Sunday. That result, including a lacklustre performance from reigning back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers cost one bettor big time, missing out on Rodgers to go for 225 passing yards to ruin his +6429 12-leg Same Game Parlay. Pain.

5. Bengals Moneyline
The Steelers pulled out one of the biggest upsets of the weekend with an OT victory over last year's AFC champions. Multiple factors played a part in the demise of the Bengals on Sunday, like Joe Burrow's four picks, an injury to Tee Higgins, a blocked extra point attempt at the end of regulation to win the game, or multiple errors in overtime to hand the game to Pittsburgh on a silver platter. It was enough to tear a bettor's hair out, as one guy found out.
That a bad beat cut the punter. Snapping with 15 seconds on clock should ran clock to 0 to punt game would ended Tied pic.twitter.com/0RNVEfdmsL
