American League vs. National League, 8:05PM ET

All-Star games in any league are tough to bet on, but MLB version is right up there with one of the hardest to predict. History shows that each pitcher will usually get just one inning each to strut their stuff, with rare occasions in which an ace might double up. In the batters box we can count on the full lineup getting around 2 at-bats in.

While other All-Star games like in the NBA and NFL usually give casual effort on defense, the MLB All-Star game generally keeps a score that is reminiscent of any typical regular season game, with the total going over 10 runs just once in the past 15 years.

With a loaded pitching rotation in both leagues, lead off by Clayton Kershaw and Shane McClanahan, we can expect to see more of the same low scoring at Dodger Stadium on Monday night. If we're going by the theory that whoever has the deeper pitcher rotation having the edge in winning this game. That advantage has to go to the NL with Kershaw, Sandy Alcantara, Joe Musgrove, Tony Gonsolin and Tyler Anderson some of the standouts.

While both batting lineups are immensely impressive - as they should be - the elected starters feel stronger on the AL side of things with the likes of Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Giancarlo Stanton and Rafael Devers, just to name a few, but with those guns only getting limited action, as we look down the reserve list it does feel as though the National League take the edge in the depth with a raft of in-form Mets, Braves, and Dodgers hitters in the ranks.

All in all, this is a tough game to predict, so you should approach this game cautiously when placing a bet. We'll be anticipating a low scoring game with the NL taking it out.

BEST BET: Total runs UNDER 7.5 (-115)
BEST PARLAY: Under 7.5 runs/National League moneyline (+265)
