2021 BMW Championship Best Golf Pick

Collin Morikawa +1800 (18/1)
Bet $10, win $180 at PointsBet Sportsbook

Collin Morikawa gets dubs. Fact. The 24-year-old already has five wins on the PGA Tour, including two majors. And he looks good to add to it this week.

The 2021 Open Championship winner is of course one of the cleanest ball strikers in the world, and although this course hasn't seen PGA action before, it does garner comparison to Muirfield Village where he has performed well in the past.

Just last year he won the Workday Charity Open at Jack's Place, taking down Justin Thomas in a playoff.

Morikawa is one of those dudes that just undeniably gets up for the big events, and with a top ranking at next week's TOUR Championship on the line, he's going to give himself every opportunity on a course that should suit him greatly.

2021 BMW Championship Value Pick

Viktor Hovland +3300 (33/1)
Bet $10, win $330 at PointsBet Sportsbook

Next up we have another young talent, in Norwegian star Viktor Hovland.

Hovland came through the ranks at the same time as Morikawa, and although he hasn't secured a major championship yet, he has recorded two PGA victories, plus the BMW International Open on the European Tour earlier this year.

Another guy who should suit the course, Hovland came in third behind Morikawa and Thomas in the above-mentioned Workday Charity Open at Muirfield Village last year.

Apart from winning a major (which he will no doubt do in the coming years) there would be no better way to take the next step in his PGA career than to win this week as the world's best players all compete for an edge next week.

If the scoring is set to be similar to what we usually see at Muirfield, then birdies will be vital this week. Hovland is third for birdie average on the TOUR this season. That matters.

2021 BMW Championship Dark Horse

Joaquin Niemann +5000 (50/1)
Bet $10, win $500 at PointsBet Sportsbook

Another guy who can strike the ball quite well is Joaquin Niemann.

The Chilean has just one win in his PGA career so far and none yet this season, but hey, that's what makes him a dark horse pick!

Niemann has two 2nd-place finishes this season, one of which came at the Sentry Tournament of Champions which is one of the few limited field events on the calendar that holds as strong of a field as this week's event will.

He's not afraid of matching it with the best in the world (he came third in this event last year) and has shown that he's got what it takes to close out a tournament, with his win at back in 2020.
