Best Golf Predictions

2021-22 Shriners Open Best Pick

Louis Oosthuizen +2500
Bet $10, win $250 at BetMGM

He has to win soon, right? Right?

We send three newsletters a week with free picks, previews & more. Improve your sports betting!

Louis Oosthuizen was one of the most consistent players on the TOUR last season, including four Top-3 finishes in majors (two US Open featured last season).

Despite this awesome run of form, Louis still hasn't won a professional event on US soil, with his lone PGA victory still being the 2010 Open Championship at St. Andrew's.

But as we always say, if you keep putting yourself in a position to win, you're eventually going to win! There was no better example of this than Tony Finau at the Northern Trust two months ago, and now it's Louis' turn.

Oousthuizen was 1st in shots gained: putting last season, along with 3rd in PGA scoring average, 4th in shots gained: total and currently has the second-longest made cut streak in the PGA TOUR.

2021-22 Shriners Open Value Pick

Garrick Higgo +10000
Bet $10, win $1000 at BetMGM

Our second South African pick of the week is here, with a Dimers' favorite, Garrick Higgo, presenting mega value this week.

We successfully picked the 22-year-old to get his first PGA win and his second event at the Palmetto Championship last season (at +4000) and now we're back on him at even better odds!

Higgo won three times on the European Tour between September 2020 and May 2021 before that maiden PGA dub, very much proving that it wasn't a fluke and that he's got it what it takes to perform for four days and close out a victory.

At +10000 (or 100/1) Higgo is a great dude sprinkle some coin on and simply shouldn't ever have odds this high in a field like this after the 12 months he's just had.

2021-22 Shriners Open Dark Horse

Martin Laird +15000
Bet $10, win $1500 at BetMGM

When our value bet is 100/1, you know we're going big with the dark horse play!

Martin Laird is the defending champion here and is surely going to get himself up for the event one again.

The 38-year-old Scot has four PGA victories, with two of those coming at this very tournament, both in playoffs against two opponents! He also made the playoff here in 2010, losing out to an eagle by Jonathan Byrd.

Laird played solid golf last season, making more cuts than he missed, with the highlight obvisouly coming when he won this very event.

It's not very often we get 150/1 on a guy who feels so at home at a particular tournament. The smart play here is a sprinkle on the moneyline, with some more on him to make the cut and finish in the Top-20.
