Best Golf Predictions

2021-22 Hero World Challenge Best Pick

Justin Thomas +1000
Bet $10, win $100 at BetMGM

Justin Thomas has started the new season well, with a T18 and 3rd in his two events so far. (And a Ryder Cup win!)

And now as we look to the Hero World Challenge, he's our top pick to take it out. JT won the PLAYERS last week, which is similar to this tournament in the way that it's prestigious without having the pressure of a major.

With the news of Tiger returning to golf some time in the (hopefully) near future, none will more bouyed than Thomas as he looks to win the event made famous (and hosted by) his idol.

In his two events so far this season, JT has led the TOUR in birdie average and is already 5th in shots gained: tee-to-green.

2021-22 Hero World Challenge Value Pick

Xander Schauffele +1400
Bet $10, win $1400 at BetMGM

Our gold medal winning star is the next best bet this season, with Xander Schauffele presenting some decent value in the Bahamas.

Usually a guy at +1400 wouldn't be a value play, but in a week like this, you have to take what you can get when it comes to odds on the board.

The World Number 5 has been solid nut not spectacular to start 2021-22, with a T18 and T28 to begin the season. But those kind of results are exactly what he would've been gunning for as he played for reps before looking to winning events such as this one.

Xander has somehow still only won four times on the TOUR, but after hiss performance in Tokyo (and another season of impressive major runs), this should be the season that he takes the leap, with this week presenting the perfect opportunity to get it going.

2021-22 Hero World Challenge Dark Horse

Patrick Reed +3300
Bet $10, win $3300 at BetMGM

This one basically comes down to Reed's results here in the past. Reading back from 2019-20 (there was no event last season) they are: 3rd, 11th, T5, 10th, 2nd, T3. So, even though it is a very limited field, he clearly loves playing in this event.

Plus, he already has a T2 (Bermuda) this season, which shows he should be back on track after some setbacks near the end of 2020-21.

At +3300, he's simply too good value to not bet on this week. Even if it's just a sprinkle.

Check out some of Reed's play at this very tournament 👇
