2021-22 PGA Tour Fortinet Championship Golf Picks, Predictions, Odds and Best Bets

A fresh season of golf begins this week with the 2021-22 Fortinet Championship on Thursday morning at the Silverado North Course, Napa, California. As with every event on the golf schedule, we've got three outright winner picks, ranging from a couple of favorites to some mega value!

We've gone through this week's Fortinet Championship and found three guys that we like to win this week's golf tournament, varying from one of the top favorites, who still represents good value, down to some nice value on a couple of stars that look set for big weeks at longer odds! We also show you the best sportsbook promos to play.

After recently picking Garrick Higgo to win the Palmetto Championship at 40/1 and Xander to win gold at the Olympics, we're confident of another outright winner here!

With crowds back and a host of big names out there, we're set for an awesome four days of golf ... and betting! As we do each and every tournament, we provide you with our best golf picks for outright winner, as well as some in-play picks throughout.

2021-22 Fortinet Championship Best Pick

Webb Simpson +1400 (14/1)
Bet $10, win $140 at PointsBet Sportsbook

With the Ryder Cup just around the corner, we're zoning in on a guy that won't be competing for the US, with Webb Simpson missing out on making it as a Captain's pick.

We send three newsletters a week with free picks, previews & more. Improve your sports betting!

Although this was likely the right call, Simpson will be out to prove Steve Stricker wrong over the next few weeks, with a win here at the Fortinet Championship very much on the cards.

Webb comes into the week as the second favorite behind Jon Rahm (+550) and should be right up this week as clearly one of the best guys in the field.

The 36 year-old failed to win last season, but made the cut in 18 of 21 events, 13 Top-25s and six Top-10 finishes.

Look for Webb to rectify that winless season by kicking off 2021-22 with a trophy straight off the bat.

2021-22 Fortinet Championship Value Pick

Maverick McNealy +5000 (50/1)
Bet $10, win $500 at PointsBet Sportsbook

From a guy who didn't win last season (Simpson), to a guy yet to win on the TOUR, our next pick for this week is 25 year-old Mav McNealy.

McNealy enjoyed what was probably his best season of golf yet, making more cuts than he missed, and finishing in the Top-25 in 11 of his 26 starts.

Mav's best finishes last season included a T2 at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and a T4 at the RBC Heritage, with a win now surely no far away for the talented hitter.

Despite still searching for his maiden professional victory, Mav knows what it takes to close out wins, with a host of wins as an amateur between 2014 and 2016.

Check out Mav going through what's in his bag👇

2021-22 Fortinet Championship Dark Horse

Harry Higgs +10000 (100/1)
Bet $10, win $1000 at PointsBet Sportsbook

Our dark horse bet this week is the one and only, Harry Higgs.

Another man who is yet to win on the TOUR, Higgs' best result so far actually came at this event (FKA Safeway Open) last season when he finished solo 2nd.

That impressive performance was capped off by an incredible albatross (see below) and he will be keen to bring those positive energies onto the course again this time around.

As well as that 2nd-placed finish at the Safeway, Higgs' other highlight from last season was undoubtedly a T4 finish at the PGA Championship.
