Best Golf Predictions
2021-22 CJ Cup Best Pick
Jordan Spieth +2000
Bet $10, win $200 at BetMGM
Yep, Jordan is back in our picks!
It's not impossible to argue that Jordan Spieth was the third best player on the PGA TOUR last season (behind Rahm and Cantlay), and also that he still has some improvement in him to get back to his circa-2017 form.
This tournament has been around for just four years, with the first three played in Japan and last year's event Shadow Creek, Nevada.
Of those four tournaments, we've had mostly big-name winners, with the least-known being Jason Kokrak when he won last season.
Jordan Spieth at +2000 is simply too good value to add to that list, with a win sure to come early in the season for him this time around.
One of the major reasons that we like Spieth this week (apart from his iron play and puttinG) is that he played some of his best golf last season after having an extra week or two off as he has had leading into this one.

2021-22 CJ Cup Value Pick
Marc Leishman +5000
Bet $10, win $500 at BetMGM
One of our favorite value plays of recent times, Marc Leishman's odds look very tasty this week.
Coming off a T3 at Shriners last week and a T4 at Fortinet before that, Leish looks primed and ready to get himself a win at Summit Creek.
This is also a tournament he has fared well at in the past, making the cut on all four occasions, with high finishes of 2nd in 2017 and T18 in 2018.
Interestingly, Leishman was the number putter from 9ft last season, which will always hold him good stead in a week like this where many approaches just end up around that mark.

2021-22 CJ Cup Dark Horse
Mav McNealy +7000
Bet $10, win $700 at BetMGM
Another guy we've picked a couple of times before, this Mav McNealy pick started thanks to a tweet from Tail and Print Podcast host, Finn!
You liking any long shots this week? I’m digging Mav McNealy although he’s currently middle of the pack for odds at +6500. He lives in Vegas and after missing the cut last week by a shot he could have a nice bounce back this week.
— Finn (@FinTailAndPrint) October 11, 2021
25-year-old Mav McNealy is yet to get his first win on the TOUR, but did come very close (T2) at Fortinet the other week before missing the cut at last week's Shriners Open.
As Fin said, he's a Vegas resident and would've had some extra time to relax and then tune up after missing the cut and heading home, meaning a week more like that at Fortinet should be on the menu!
