Make NFL live bets backed by live win probabilities
NFL games can change in a single drive. A touchdown, turnover, injury, or fourth-down conversion can shift the outlook of a game, and live betting odds move just as fast.
Dimers helps you follow those changes with live scores, live win probabilities, and the projected chances of covering the spread or hitting the over or under. Our model updates through the game to reflect what is happening on the field.
Instead of relying on the scoreboard alone or reacting to one big play, you can use our live win probabilities to see how each game is actually tracking, from kickoff to the final whistle. Follow every matchup in the table, whether it's a standalone national game like Thursday night (TNF), Sunday night (SNF), or Monday night (MNF), or part of a full Sunday slate.
The table above has all of it for every game in progress: the current score and game clock, each team's live win probability, and the projected spread and total chances. Click into any matchup for more live data, or switch to the full NFL schedule for what is coming up and what has finished.
How NFL live betting works
NFL live betting, also called in-play betting, is betting on a game while it is underway. Pregame prices are set before the opening drive. Live prices are reset through the game as the score, the clock, field position, and possession change.
The main NFL live betting markets are:
- Live moneyline: Which team wins the game from here.
- Live spread: Whether a team covers the point spread as it stands now.
- Live total: Whether the combined score finishes over or under the current number.
Prices move quickly, and the number on your screen can disappear before you tap it. Sportsbooks can also suspend markets during a play and reprice them before they return. That is normal. It also means a live bet is worth judging on the price you actually get, not the one you saw two minutes earlier.
How Dimers calculates live NFL win probabilities
A live win probability is our model's estimate of each team's chance of winning from the current state of the game.
The model starts with the matchup, then reads what has happened since kickoff: the score, time remaining, possession, and field position. As those change, the projection changes with them. A 10-point lead in the first quarter and a 10-point lead with four minutes left are not the same position, and the live win probability reflects the difference.
For every game in progress you get:
- Each team's live win probability.
- The projected chance of each team covering the current spread.
- The projected chance of the game going over or under the current total.
These are estimates, not results. Our model can have a team at 78% and that team can still lose, which is what 78% means. There can also be a short lag between the field and your screen, so treat the numbers as a reference point rather than a synced feed.
NFL live betting strategy and how to use live win probabilities
- Look beyond the scoreboard: A three-point lead late in the fourth can mean something very different depending on who has the ball and where. Live win probability accounts for those factors alongside the score.
- Compare probability with the live price: A live moneyline of -150 implies a break-even win probability of about 60%. If our model has that team at 66%, the price could be favorable. If it has them at 55%, it may not be.
- Consider the impact of big plays: A pick-six or an 80-yard touchdown can move a live line sharply. Looking at where the probability settles after the play can provide more context than the initial reaction.
- Look at the spread and total too: A game can have a clear favorite on the moneyline while the outlook against the spread or on the total tells a different story. Late-game clock management and garbage-time scoring can have a particularly large effect on totals.
- Compare live prices: Live lines can differ between sportsbooks and prediction markets because each provider reprices its markets on its own clock.
Live NFL betting moves fast, and no model can tell you how a game ends. Live win probabilities are there to help you weigh a price, not to promise a result.
